I set up a Mumble server for the vanilla server users. If you've never used Mumble, it's an extremely popular group voice chat technology, and it's completely free. Any time you're on the server with someone else and want to chat together, just load it up! You'll need a microphone of course (headsets are best, but in a quiet room a desktop mic can work as well). Of course, you're never required to use Mumble; it's just there for when (and if!) you feel like chatting by voice. Download link for Windows, Mac and Linux (free, no registration required). Stooges Mumble Server DetailsLabel

* Password will be prompted for the first time you connect to the server. Instructions- Download the client with the above link
- Install and configure per the instructions from Mumble for your operating system.
- In Mumble, click the Server button (globe icon in top left of window) and then Add New...
- Enter in the details listed above, and click OK
- With the new server highlighted, click Connect
- Using your Push-to-Talk (PTT) button (default F7 I think), say "Hello" and have fun!
Tips- Make sure you go through Mumble's Audio Wizard to set up your microphone and speakers/earphones
- Set a convenient Push-to-Talk (PTT) button (I use a footswitch, but any keyboard key works just fine.)
- When connecting for the first time, you may get a warning about a self-signed certificate. This is normal; just accept the warning to continue.
